_The Process

_Pre-Event
The interactive group graphics process begins with the planning of your event. During a pre-meeting we discuss your objectives and develop an action plan.

The next step is “pre-charting” mission statements, visions, key concepts, agendas, templates, and other relevant information in a large, colourful format. Pre-charting energizes and engages participants by creating an inspiring, focused zone from the moment they walk into the room.

Real-Time

During the event, I act as a lead facilitator, in partnership with my client, while simultaneously graphically recording the session using colour, words, pictures, and symbols.

_Participants see their words unfold before them, as they speak, and realize they are an integral part of the process. Listening becomes a whole-brain activity from the start, stimulating the visual and kinesthetic thought processes that are often left dormant during verbal presentations.

As your meeting progresses, a vast amount of information will be visually displayed throughout the room. Participants will come to understand the subject matter through a big picture lens, seldom available to them on a day- to-day basis. This Big Picture Add-vantage is precisely what people need to move forward in today’s complex, interconnected, and rapidly changing world.

Post-Event
Most full day and multi-day interactive group graphic events involve the creation of several visual maps. Post-event summary maps are a popular way to reflect all of your key points, insights, and agreements on a single page where they can be easily accessed and shared.

All charts are digitized after the event, and sent to the client. They can be used for anything from reports, PowerPoint presentations, websites, and blogs, to screen-savers and desktop “reminders”.

The original charts are the property of the client. They can be laminated and used as a springboard for related meetings or displayed on an office wall to leverage and reinforce the value of session.
